City's emergency preparedness workshop held in Steveston area March 7-8, 6:00-8:00pm at Westwind
As you may know, the City of Richmond has been presenting a number of Family and Community Emergency Preparedness Workshops at numerous Community Centres over the past few months. Based on interested parents in the Steveston area, the City is going to present a 2-part series at Westwind Elementary School on Wednesday/Thursday March 7 and 8 , 6:00-8:00 pm. The lead presenter will be Chris Pattullo, Emergency Programs Coordinator. Thanks to the Westwind PAC for hosting!

Attached is a poster and brochure that can be shared. The registration information is as follows:
1.) Registration for the event is required.
2.) Space is limited.
3.) Participants must be 16 or older
4.) When registering, you must provide an email that I can send pre-course instructions to.
5.) The course takes place over two evenings. Attendance at both evenings is required to complete the course.
6.) There are two ways to register:
a. Over the internet at www.richmond.ca/register<http://www.richmond.ca/register>.
b. Over the telephone at 604-276-4300 and press “2” at the prompt (Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm).
